Position Overview

RecruitGo is in search of an SEO and Content Writer based in the Philippines.

Aside from your established skills and expertise, we are also looking for someone who has excellent command of the English language, including grammar and style, and strong research skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Research and write SEO-optimized blog posts, website content, product descriptions, landing pages, and more.
• Perform keyword research using tools like Google Keyword Planner, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or similar.
• Optimize existing content for SEO, readability, and engagement.
• Develop and implement link-building strategies (where applicable).
• Collaborate with the marketing, design, and product teams to align content with brand voice and business goals.
• Monitor SEO performance and track content rankings, traffic, and engagement.
• Stay updated with the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and content marketing strategies.
• Conduct competitor analysis and content gap audits.

Qualifications

Must-Haves:

• 1-2 years proven experience as a content writer or SEO writer.
• Solid understanding of on-page and off-page SEO techniques.
• Excellent command of the English language, including grammar and style.
• Experience with SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Yoast).
• Ability to write for different platforms and audiences (B2B, B2C, technical, etc.).
• Strong research skills and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with content management systems (Webflow, HubSpot).
• Basic understanding of HTML/CSS (optional but a plus).
• Knowledge of backlinks and how to get them.

Nice-to-Haves:

• Degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
• Experience with email marketing or social media content (optional).
• Knowledge of Google Search Console and basic technical SEO (bonus).
