What You’ll Do

• Manage Systems: Update and troubleshoot Linux (CentOS, Ubuntu, Red Hat) and Windows Server (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy) environments to ensure reliability.
• Support Backend Systems: Maintain iTeraTEL’s backend infrastructure (servers, applications, databases) powering phone and internet services.
• Handle Customer Support: Resolve inbound calls from iTeraTEL’s business customers, troubleshooting phone (Cloud Phone System, SIP Trunking) and internet issues.
• Maintain Networks: Configure TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN/WAN, routers, and VPNs for secure connectivity.
• Drive Virtualization: Manage virtual machines using VMware vSphere and Microsoft Hyper-V.
• Ensure Security: Apply patches, manage firewalls, and implement backup systems to protect data.
• Support Teams: Assist iTeraSource employees with hardware, software, and network issues.
• Collaborate: Work with IT teams and vendors to align with business goals.

Work Environment

• Location: Office-based at iTeraSource Philippines Corporation, Oakridge Business Park, Mandaue City.
• Schedule: Overnight shift (7 PM–3 AM or 8 PM–4 AM) to support Canadian business hours, with occasional extended hours for critical issues.
• No Remote Work: This is a fully in-office role with no work-from-home option.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience: Minimum 2 years in IT administration or a similar role. Not suitable for first-time job seekers.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Technical Skills:
• Expertise in Linux (CentOS, Ubuntu, Red Hat) and Windows Server (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy) with patch management.
• Strong knowledge of network fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN/WAN), routing/switching, and VPN configuration.
• Experience with VMware vSphere and Microsoft Hyper-V for virtualization.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365, including Teams integration, and VoIP (e.g., SIP Trunking).
• Understanding of cybersecurity and backup solutions.
• Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills to support non-technical customers.
• Location: Must reside within 45 minutes of Oakridge Business Park, Mandaue City. No relocation support provided.
