As a Welder, the primary task is to assemble metal plates or pipes for production and plant use. This may include:

• New project fabrication
• Repair of existing parts

Welding work will be in the form of Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) or Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) Application.

Work locations may include inside the operation area, within the plant premises, or elevated locations (6ft above).

Responsibilities:

• Perform mechanical and fabrication activities involving rotating equipment, gears, belts, tensions, ducts, furnace, fabrication of replacement and spare parts, and mechanical improvements.
• Assist in machine installations, relocations, safekeeping of idle machines, and re-installation when required.
• Conduct machine maintenance works.
• Perform primer painting prior to installation.
• Report directly to any available engineer on-site.

Requirements:

• At least High School Graduate
• With 1–3 years of experience in welding
• With NC II Certificate Holder for SMAW
