Recruiter – Skilled Trades

Location: Remote

Salary Range: 1500 - 2500 USD/month

Work Schedule:  Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (CST)

Position Overview:

This is a sourcing-driven recruiting role responsible for building and converting a pipeline of skilled trades talent. The Recruiter will own the process from candidate identification through initial screening, submission, and interview coordination. This role is heavily focused on outbound outreach and engaging passive candidates, while maintaining high-quality candidate evaluation. Offer management and final hiring decisions remain with the internal team. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Source active and passive candidates for HVAC and electrical technician roles.
• Build and maintain strong pipelines for hard-to-fill positions.
• Execute high-volume outbound outreach via calls, SMS, email, and social platforms.
• Conduct initial phone screens to assess experience, fit, and alignment.
• Present qualified candidates to hiring managers with clear summaries.
• Coordinate interviews and maintain candidate communication throughout the process.
• Track pipeline activity, outreach metrics, and candidate progress in the ATS (Paycom).
• Collaborate with stakeholders to refine candidate profiles and sourcing strategies.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in recruiting and sourcing, with exposure to outbound/pipeline-building environments.
• Ability to both generate candidates and assess their qualifications effectively.
• Comfortable with high-volume outreach and engaging passive candidates.
• Experience using ATS platforms (any system; Paycom is a plus).
• Strong organization, follow-through, and attention to detail.
• Strong Communications Skills with confidence on phone calls.

Nice-to-Haves:

• Experience recruiting for skilled trades, construction, or blue-collar roles.
• Familiarity with U.S. labor market dynamics for HVAC, electrical, or similar roles.
• Background in outbound-heavy roles (e.g., SDR, high-volume recruiting).
• Experience using phone and SMS as primary engagement channels.
