AmazingTalker is an online 1-on-1 language-tutoring marketplace connecting students worldwide with tutors across 70+ languages. We are hiring South Africa–based online tutors to teach a language you are fluent in — and earn in US dollars, working from home. You set your own rates and your own schedule, with no minimum hours.

We welcome tutors of ANY language — including English, Afrikaans, French, German, Portuguese, Spanish, Zulu, Xhosa and more. If you also speak a second language fluently, even better: we have strong demand for bilingual tutors.

Duties & Responsibilities

- Teach 1-on-1 online lessons via Zoom (25-minute trial lessons and 50-minute standard lessons)

- Prepare lesson materials based on each student's level and goals

- Give feedback and track student progress

- Manage your own teaching schedule and student bookings

Desired Experience & Qualification

- Fluent / native-level in the language you want to teach (spoken and written)

- Bonus: you also speak a second language fluently (e.g. English + French / German / Portuguese / Spanish) — please tell us which

- Tutoring, teaching or lecturing experience preferred (new tutors welcome)

- TEFL/TESOL or an equivalent qualification an advantage (not required)

- A computer with stable internet, webcam and microphone, and a quiet workspace

Package & Remuneration

- Earn in US dollars — you set your own lesson rates (no fixed cap)

- Paid monthly via PayPal, Wise or Payoneer

- No minimum hours — fully flexible, ideal as part-time or full-time
