About the role

The Sales Team Leader plays a dual role—50% individual contributor and 50% team management. This position is responsible for handling more complex or high-value sales opportunities, guiding prospects through detailed consultations and closing deals, while also supporting the management of the daily performance and development of a team of Sales Development Representatives (SDRs). The role ensures alignment between HOPLA and the client’s operational standards, driving both revenue and team success.


Your days will be filled with:

  • Serves as both an individual contributor (50%) and a team leader (50%).
  • Sales Responsibilities:
  • Manage complex and high-value sales opportunities.
  • Conduct detailed consultations with prospects and close deals.
  • Team Leadership:
  • Oversee daily performance and development of Sales Development Representatives (SDRs).
  • Provide coaching, support, and performance feedback to enhance team effectiveness.
  • Alignment & Strategy:
  • Ensure all sales activities align with both HOPLA’s and the client’s operational standards.
  • Drive revenue growth and overall team success through strategic leadership and collaboration.


Who we are looking for:

  • 4–6 years in sales; minimum 2 years in a team lead or supervisory role, and experience in renewable energy or high-ticket B2C/B2B telesales.
  • Proven success in achieving and exceeding personal and team sales KPIs; strong leadership and communication skills; adept in CRM management and reporting;
  • Proven sales record, excellent communication, and consultative selling skills; strong English proficiency.
  • Must have hands-on experience in managing sales teams and handling complex sales cycles; renewable energy or sustainability industry experience a requirement.
  • Strong communication and persuasive sales skills
  • Ability to close high-value deals
  • Proactive and self-motivated
  • Good teamwork and collaboration skills.
  • Must have a background in renewable energy or sustainability solutions.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred; additional certification in leadership, coaching, or sales strategy is a plus.
  • Can work autonomously in a remote setup, with a quiet environment and your own reliable equipment
  • Are comfortable using time-tracking tools during work hours


Device Requirements:

To maintain a highly productive and professional work-from-home setup, successful candidates must have:


Computer & Equipment

  • Primary and backup computer with at least Intel Core i5 or AMD Ryzen 5, and 8GB RAM
  • Web camera for meetings and check-ins
  • Headset (preferably noise-canceling) for clear communication


Internet Connection

  • Primary: Minimum 30 Mbps download / 10 Mbps upload
  • Backup: At least 10 Mbps download / 5 Mbps upload
