Job requirements:

• Writes clear, readable and maintainable code, takes ownership of the quality and usability of code

• Understands how to find and reuse patterns and platforms in the Manulife ecosystem and the broader community

• Strong Salesforce Foundation on Data Management, User Access and basic salesforce configuration (Custom Metadata, Sites and others)

• Familiar with declarative and programmatic Salesforce development (Process Builder, Flows, Apex Classes, Triggers and Test Classes)

• Familiar in Salesforce Integration with external API/REST/SOAP and 3rd party systems

• Familiar with Visualforce Page, Aura and Lightning Web components.

• Salesforce Admin and Platform Developer 1 certification is a plus

• With knowledge in SDLC, Agile methodologies, and DevOps tools stacks (e.g., Jira, Confluence)

• Strong knowledge of ITIL and ITSM (IT Service Management)

• Good foundation in data structures, algorithms, and OO Design with rock-solid programming skills

• Collaborative attitude, willingness to work with team members; able to coach, participate in code reviews, share skills and methods

• Good verbal and written communication; effectively articulates technical vision, possibilities, and outcomes
